I have to say the picture of this watch does it no justice. This watch is very beautiful, and elegant on ones wrist. It is very well worth the cost.
Great Watch - very poor Amazon customer service

Reviewer: D. Boyer,
This watch is really excellent and as another reviewer mentioned , it looks even better on the wrist. This is a very fine piece of craftsmanship and style with a prestigious and recognizable watchmaker. If I had to do it over again however, I would pay $300 or $400 more and buy it from a local retailer. This is one of those gray-market situations where no authorized dealer is allowed by the manufacturer to sell its products via the internet. Rolex and many others have the same policy. So if you want or expect any kind of customer service, forget it, especially if you are dealing with Amazon.

I have always felt confident purchasing various items through Amazon until this transaction. I have contacted customer service on several occasions because I don't believe I received the correct manual with my watch. I also had questions about what to do if I needed warranty work (I have to send the watch back to Amazon and hope for the best). I never received adequate resolution from Amazon about the manual for my watch as all the manual's illustrations showed a different model and did not correlate to my model. Therefore one of the dial's functionality is unknown to me and I don't believe that, as fine as the packaging is from TAG Heuer, that they would skimp on printing a couple of pages for a watch that retails for $2500. Amazon was nonchalant about it and said they would look into it.

Of course I have not heard back from them so I'm pretty sure this will not get resolved. I also thought that some form of 'authenticity document' would come with the watch but there was none and I will not receive anything by anyone stating that this is a real TAG Heuer and not a counterfeit watch. I believe it's a real TAG Heuer but I don't have any proof if I later wanted to sell it. I now do not have the proper documentation for this watch due to poor customer service from Amazon and their unwillingness to do anything about it, which actually de-values the watch to collectors.

I would buy this watch again, but from an authorized dealer - it truly is something special and classy.
